Life Skills Education for Adolescents
Global Arthik Samajik Sahyog Samiti (GASSS) is committed to empowering adolescents and young community members through structured Life Skills Education programs. These programs are designed to build critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and positive attitudes, enabling young people to effectively face personal, social, and academic challenges while contributing positively to society.
Objectives:
- To develop negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills among adolescents.
- To foster positive attitudes, values, and ethical thinking in community youth.
- To create awareness about health, hygiene, and personal well-being.
- To educate adolescents on their rights and responsibilities as informed and responsible citizens.
- To enhance awareness regarding social issues and promote proactive engagement in community development.
Approach:
- Interactive workshops conducted by trained facilitators.
- Participatory sessions covering negotiation skills, attitude development, and value-based learning.
- Health and hygiene awareness sessions to encourage safe and healthy practices.
- Discussions on civic responsibilities, rights, and social ethics.
- Group activities and role plays to reinforce learning and practical application.
Participation: 35 adolescents actively attended the program and engaged in interactive learning sessions.
Impact Assessment:
