About Us
Global Arthik Samajik Sehyog Samiti (GASSS)® is a non-government, non-political, and non-religious voluntary organization, duly registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 and recognized by the Delhi Government, Government of India, and NITI Aayog (Unique ID: DL/2016/0100250). Established in 2010 under the leadership of Mr. Nand Kumar Paswan, a visionary social worker, GASSS is dedicated to the welfare, empowerment, and upliftment of marginalized and disadvantaged communities across India.
The organization functions within the framework of the Constitution of India, guided by principles of social justice, transparency, accountability, and human rights. Its mission is to serve as a bridge between citizens and governance systems, ensuring that the benefits of government schemes and programs reach the last-mile beneficiaries.
Vision
To build an inclusive, equitable, and just society where every individual, particularly women, children, and rural communities, has access to education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities, and constitutional rights, thereby enabling them to live with dignity and self-reliance.
Mission
To empower marginalized communities through education, skill development, health awareness, livelihood promotion, RTI facilitation, and grievance redressal. GASSS is committed to protecting human rights, advancing gender equality, and fostering sustainable socio-economic development at the grassroots level.
Objectives
- Facilitate access to government schemes, welfare programs, and social entitlements for rural and marginalized groups.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and good governance through RTI awareness and citizen empowerment.
- Assist individuals in utilizing public grievance redressal mechanisms to resolve complaints effectively.

Programs and Activities
GASSS implements diverse initiatives aimed at social upliftment and citizen empowerment, including:

Key Achievements
GASSS has successfully facilitated thousands of RTI applications, organized literacy and skill-building programs, conducted health and hygiene awareness drives, and resolved numerous public grievances. Target Group
The primary beneficiaries of GASSS include rural poor communities, women, children, laborers, artisans, unemployed youth, and below-poverty-line populations.
