Delhi Knowledge Enhancement Tour for Promotion of Education
The Delhi Knowledge Enhancement Tour organized by Global Arthik Samajik Sahyog Samiti (GASSS) is an innovative initiative aimed at promoting education by exposing students and young learners to diverse educational resources, historical landmarks, and cultural heritage of Delhi. The program is designed to broaden the horizons of students, foster curiosity, and enhance their academic as well as social understanding.
Objectives:
- To enhance the educational experience of students beyond classroom learning.
- To provide exposure to historical monuments, museums, and knowledge institutions of Delhi.
- To cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and appreciation for India’s cultural and educational heritage.
- To motivate students to actively pursue higher education and career goals.
Approach:
- Organizing guided tours to museums, libraries, science centers, and heritage sites in Delhi.
- Engaging students in interactive sessions with experts and resource persons.
- Providing orientation about career pathways and skill development opportunities.
- Facilitating group discussions and reflective learning activities post-tour.
Participation: Students from marginalized and underprivileged backgrounds were given priority to benefit from this educational exposure program.
