Citizen Charter
The Global Arthik Samajik Sehyog Samiti (GASSS) is committed to providing efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric services. This Citizen Charter outlines the services offered, standards of service delivery, and the responsibilities of both the organization and its beneficiaries. It aims to ensure that citizens are fully informed about their rights, entitlements, and the procedures for accessing services, thereby promoting accountability, transparency, and social justice.
Scope of Services:
- Assistance in filing Right to Information (RTI) applications, appeals, and follow-ups.
- Support in lodging and tracking public grievances with appropriate government authorities.
- Awareness programs on social rights, citizen entitlements, and government welfare schemes.
- Educational support, skill development, and livelihood enhancement initiatives.
- Health, hygiene, and community awareness campaigns for rural and marginalized communities.
- Empowerment programs for women, children, artisans, laborers, and underprivileged groups.
Service Standards:
- All citizen requests, applications, and grievances will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt.
- Guidance and assistance for RTI applications and grievance redressal will be provided promptly, accurately, and transparently.
- Workshops, awareness sessions, and training programs will be conducted as per the scheduled calendar with prior notice to participants.
- Information on services, entitlements, and procedures will be kept accurate, updated, and accessible to citizens at all times.
- Feedback, complaints, and suggestions regarding services will be recorded and addressed in a timely manner to ensure continuous improvement.
Citizen Responsibilities:
- Provide complete and accurate information when seeking assistance or submitting applications.
- Follow the prescribed procedures and timelines as guided by GASSS staff.
- Respect the rules, policies, and norms of the organization while participating in programs or workshops.
- Provide constructive feedback to help GASSS enhance the quality and effectiveness of services.
